Mini has expanded the Countryman lineup with the new Untamed Edition, a more rugged-looking variant that gains additional ground clearance, all-terrain tires, distinctive exterior details, and adventure-focused accessories.

Rugged exterior updates

The Untamed Edition remains immediately recognizable as a Countryman, but it features a redesigned grille with Dark Steel accents and vertical elements. A textured matte-black protective film, an Untamed badge on the C-pillar, modified side skirts, and a revised diffuser further distinguish the model.

Three colors were developed specifically for the edition: Hideaway Grey, Nomad Blue, and Frozen Nomad Blue. Frozen Nomad Blue is described as the first matte paint finish offered on a series-production Mini. Midnight Black and Nanuq White will also be available.

Lifted suspension and all-terrain tires

Certain versions of the Countryman Untamed Edition receive a lifted suspension. The added ride height applies to all versions sold in Canada and the United States, along with electric variants in Europe. Combined with the edition’s tires, the setup increases ground clearance by 0.7 inches, or 19 mm.

The crossover rides on unique 19-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion All-Terrain Plus tires. Dark Steel-painted underbody protection is also included, adding to the model’s more rugged specification.

Adventure-themed cabin

Inside, the Untamed Edition features exclusive Nightshade Blue sports seats. They combine perforated Vescin upholstery with knitted upper sections and Untamed branding. Cornflower Blue stitching and piping add contrast, while specially developed Millennial Melange details bring another visual change to the cabin.

Additional interior touches include Dark Steel accents, special floor mats, and a center-console storage box modeled after adventure backpacks. The interior updates are intended to give the Countryman a distinct identity beyond its exterior treatment.

Camping accessories and U.S. availability

Mini also collaborated with Autohome on a pop-up A-frame tent. A separate partnership with Helinox provides folding chairs and camping tables designed to match the Untamed Edition’s styling.

Production is scheduled to begin in November, with deliveries expected to start early next year. Depending on the market, the edition will be offered based on the Countryman C, D, E, S ALL4, and SE ALL4 variants.

In the United States, the Untamed Edition will be based on the Countryman S ALL4 and Countryman SE ALL4. U.S. pricing starts at $43,900, excluding the $1,350 destination fee.
