Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced the Signature Edition package for the Transporter Bulli and ID. Buzz Cargo in the Netherlands. The optional package adds sportier exterior styling, upgraded cabin materials, and model-specific badging without changing either van’s powertrain or chassis.
Exterior and interior changes
The package brings carbon-finish front splitters and rear spoilers, black side skirts, and darkened grille and Volkswagen badges. The vans also receive side decals and Signature Edition emblems. Black alloy wheels measure 19 inches on the Transporter and 20 inches on the ID. Buzz Cargo.
Inside, the seats are trimmed in eco-leather with Dinamica inserts, contrasting stitching, and a hexagonal pattern. Signature Edition logos appear on the seatbacks and dashboard, while the door panels receive matching Dinamica and eco-leather treatments. The Transporter also gets those materials across its dashboard, and both vans feature carbon-style steering-wheel details.
No mechanical upgrades
Despite its performance-inspired appearance, the Signature Edition does not include engine, electric-motor, suspension, or other chassis changes. The ID. Buzz continues with its standard electric powertrain, while the Transporter and e-Transporter retain their existing diesel or electric configurations.
In the Netherlands, the package starts at €6,495 before VAT. The accessories are installed locally after the vehicle has been registered, which keeps the additions from increasing the van’s taxable catalog value.
The Signature Edition follows other sporty treatments offered for Volkswagen’s commercial vans, including the Transporter Sportline in the United Kingdom and additional styling options for the ID. Buzz Cargo. The passenger ID. Buzz GTX remains the most powerful model in the lineup, using a 335-horsepower dual-motor setup.
