Lexus has added the LX F Sport to its Japanese lineup, giving local buyers access to the sport-oriented version previously offered in the United States and Middle East. The update also brings revised steering and suspension tuning across the LX range, while the F Sport receives additional chassis-focused upgrades.
LX F Sport joins the Japanese lineup
In Japan, the F Sport grade is available with both the gasoline-powered LX 600 and hybrid LX 700h. It joins the regular LX, off-road-focused Overtrail+, and four-seat Executive grades.
Exterior changes include a sportier grille, revised lower bumper moldings, F Sport badging, and black 22-inch forged aluminum wheels. Red brake calipers provide additional contrast, while Neutrino Gray is offered as an exclusive exterior color. The cabin can be specified with Flare Red upholstery and includes sport seats, Hadori aluminum trim inspired by Japanese sword-making, branded scuff plates, aluminum pedals, and dimpled leather on the steering wheel and gear selector.
The F Sport also receives dedicated calibration for its performance dampers, Adaptive Variable Suspension, and electric power steering. A Torsen limited-slip differential is fitted to the rear axle.
Chassis revisions across the range
Lexus has revised the steering feel and suspension characteristics throughout the Japanese-market LX lineup, with the changes intended to improve handling and ride quality.
The standard LX 600 uses 20-inch aluminum wheels with six double spokes and a dark clear-coat finish. The Overtrail+ continues with 18-inch wheels and 265/70R18 tires. Those tires feature a revised internal structure and tread design aimed at reducing road noise on paved surfaces, along with a block pattern on the sidewall.
A new White Nova Glass Flake exterior color is now available across the range.
Carry-over powertrains and Japanese pricing
The LX 600 retains its twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter gasoline V6, which produces 409 horsepower and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The LX 700h combines the same V6 with an electric motor in a self-charging hybrid system, producing 457 hp and 790 Nm (583 lb-ft).
Both powertrains send power to all four wheels through a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission.
Japanese pricing starts at ¥15,600,000 ($98,900) for the standard LX 600. The LX 600 F Sport is priced at ¥17,000,000 ($107,800), while the LX 700h F Sport starts at ¥18,000,000 ($114,100). At the top of the range, the four-seat LX 700h Executive costs ¥22,100,000 ($140,100).
The revised chassis setup could be introduced in other markets in the near future, although the supplied information does not confirm where or when those changes might appear.
