Fox Factory has introduced the Black Widow SR, a heavily modified Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that trades some off-road ability and versatility for a lower stance, sharper handling, and substantially more power. The package is positioned as a rival to the upcoming 2027 Ram Rumble Bee.

Unlike many Silverado upgrades that focus primarily on power or appearance, the Black Widow SR’s defining change is its suspension. Custom Ridetech coilovers, control arms, and traction bars lower the truck by three inches at the front and 5.5 inches at the rear.

Lower suspension and road-focused hardware

The lowered Silverado rides on black 22-inch wheels wrapped in 305/40 high-performance tires. Fox Factory also adds flared fenders, revised grilles, hood vents, a tailgate spoiler, and a performance exhaust finished with black tips.

Although the Black Widow SR is designed with road performance in mind, it remains available with truck-oriented equipment. Models fitted with a tow package can reportedly tow up to 13,300 pounds and carry as much as 1,980 pounds of payload.

Optional supercharged V8

The standard configuration uses Chevrolet’s 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8, producing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can instead pay an additional $16,895 for a 3.0-liter supercharger fitted to the 6.2-liter EcoTec V8. With that upgrade, output rises to 675 horsepower and 655 pound-feet of torque.

Fox Factory also offers Brembo brakes for $4,895. The braking upgrade is separate from the supercharger option and adds to the cost of the already extensively modified pickup.

Interior changes and pricing

Inside, the Black Widow SR receives diamond-quilted leather upholstery and spider-themed details, including accents on the puddle lamps. A retractable tonneau cover is available as an additional option.

Pricing starts at $84,685 for the most basic Black Widow SR. A highly equipped example with custom paint, Brembo brakes, the tonneau cover, the supercharged 6.2-liter V8, and other options can exceed $126,000.
