Aston Martin has introduced the DBX GT, a luxury-focused version of its SUV that combines a more refined cabin with the 717-horsepower powertrain used by the DBX S. The model arrives as the brand looks to recover from lower sales and increased losses in 2025.

Aston Martin’s sales declined from 6,030 vehicles in 2024 to 5,448 last year, while DBX sales fell 9% to 1,717 units. Unlike the DBX S, which emphasizes performance, the DBX GT is positioned around additional luxury and refinement. Its higher-margin specification could also help Aston Martin compete for customers considering vehicles such as the Ferrari Purosangue and Lamborghini Urus.

Exterior changes

The DBX GT receives a bespoke double-vaned grille, offered with either a bright or dark finish, along with redesigned outer air vents. New two-piece metal side strakes add further differentiation, while the front bumper, side sills, and rear diffuser are finished in the vehicle’s body color.

The SUV rides on 22-inch forged wheels with a Satin Titanium diamond-turned finish. All-season tires are standard. At the rear, the DBX GT replaces the stacked exhaust outlets used by the DBX S with a more conventional polished quad-exhaust arrangement.

A redesigned luxury cabin

The cabin receives a more substantial set of changes. The front and rear seats gain an additional 0.39-inch, or 10-millimeter, layer of memory foam for increased support. Each front seat contains 2,267 feet of thread and more than 3,200 perforation holes.

At the rear, the DBX GT uses two individual seats instead of the bench fitted across the rest of the DBX lineup. A center seat remains, although the source describes it as very cramped. Buyers can choose bespoke monotone, duotone, or tritone cabin color schemes, complemented by custom stitching.

Other standard or available luxury details include an anodized metal drive-mode controller, a panoramic glass roof, additional sound-deadening material, semi-aniline leather, and deep-pile floor mats.

DBX S powertrain

Despite its emphasis on comfort, the DBX GT uses the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the DBX S. It produces 717 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 664 pound-feet of torque, or 900 Nm, from 3,000 to 5,250 rpm.

A nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels. With a listed curb weight of 4,949 pounds, or 2,245 kilograms, the DBX GT can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 193 mph, or 310 km/h.

Aston Martin has also adjusted the exhaust note and added a quieter GT drive mode. Sport and Sport+ modes are available for drivers seeking a more pronounced V8 character.

Market-specific pricing has not yet been announced. The first customer deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter.
