Alfa Romeo has given its upcoming concept a name and released a teaser image ahead of its scheduled debut at the Paris Motor Show. Called Cuorerosso, or “Red Heart,” the vehicle is being presented as a statement about the brand’s future and its focus on emotionally engaging cars.

A name built around passion

Alfa Romeo says the name combines two themes central to the concept. Red represents the brand’s passion and imagination, while the heart refers to the emotional connection between its vehicles and their drivers. Together, Cuorerosso is described as a “declaration of intent” for a car created primarily to excite.

The name follows earlier descriptions of the unnamed concept as a “manifesto” for Alfa Romeo’s future. The automaker has linked the project to Italy, sportiness, and the color red, while also saying it was designed for people who continue to enjoy driving. Alfa Romeo has further indicated that the concept will showcase the brand’s creative capabilities.

Technical details remain undisclosed

Alfa Romeo has not yet revealed the concept’s powertrain, platform, dimensions, or performance figures. The company also has not confirmed exactly what type of vehicle Cuorerosso is.

However, the available teasers show low, sculpted red bodywork rather than clearly suggesting another crossover. An earlier social media teaser also included possible names such as Battito, meaning “Beat” or “Heartbeat,” Biscione, or “Big Snake,” and Passione, meaning “Passion.” Cuorerosso appeared among those options.

Paris Motor Show debut

The concept is scheduled to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12 at 10:55 a.m. CEST. It is expected to remain on display through October 18, when more information about the vehicle’s design and intended direction may become available.
