Lancia will showcase the new Gamma at the Paris Motor Show, including a range-topping HF Integrale variant that revives one of the brand’s best-known performance badges. Unlike the rally-bred Delta HF Integrale of the 1990s, the new model will use a fully electric powertrain.

Dual-motor electric power

The Gamma HF Integrale is confirmed with two electric motors producing a combined 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS). The all-wheel-drive configuration is expected to deliver up to 675 km (419 miles) of range between charges.

Lancia says the performance-focused fastback crossover will carry the character and sporting spirit associated with the brand. The source does not provide further details about chassis tuning or other mechanical changes compared with the rest of the Gamma lineup.

Uncamouflaged prototype spotted

Although Lancia has released images of the standard Gamma, an HF Integrale prototype has been seen testing in Italy without camouflage. The 4.67-meter (183.9-inch) crossover wore a Nero Vulcano black finish and black alloy wheels with white outer rings.

The prototype appears to retain the regular Gamma’s bumpers. HF Integrale badges are visible on the side skirts, while the dark exterior makes it difficult to determine whether the glossy black lower cladding will receive a body-colored finish.

The HF Integrale name has not appeared on a Lancia production model since the 1990s. The company has used it again for the Ypsilon Rally2 competition car, but the electric performance version of the roadgoing Ypsilon is designated simply HF. A less powerful-looking HF Line version is also offered as an appearance-focused package.

Gamma lineup expands beyond the HF Integrale

The Paris presentation will also include the Gamma LX in hybrid and fully electric forms. The entry-level hybrid uses a 1.2-liter engine producing 143 hp (107 kW / 145 PS).

Single-motor electric versions are listed with either 227 hp (169 kW / 230 PS) and a 540-km (335-mile) range, or 242 hp (180 kW / 245 PS) and a 740-km (460-mile) range.

Production of the Gamma takes place at Stellantis’ Melfi plant in Italy, alongside the mechanically related DS No8. The fastback crossover is expected to go on sale in European markets soon and will become the second model in Lancia’s current era after the Ypsilon.

Lancia had previously included a Delta revival in its product plans for 2028, but the hatchback is no longer shown in the revised plan.
