BMW has previewed a new selection of M Performance Parts for the latest 3-Series and battery-electric i3, including carbon-fiber body components, distinctive lighting details, and exclusive wheels. Pricing for the accessories has not yet been confirmed.

The first parts were shown on the newly confirmed i3 M60 xDrive, a performance-focused version expected to join the i3 lineup next year. While technical specifications remain undisclosed, the model features several visual details intended to separate it from other versions of the electric sedan.

i3 M60 xDrive receives distinctive styling

The i3 M60 xDrive has a unique front light graphic, with optional yellow daytime running lights. Its taillights also feature dedicated graphics, while exclusive 21-inch wheels will be available.

Among the confirmed M Performance Parts are a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler and winglets, along with carbon-fiber mirror caps carrying M stripes. Special side skirts add further exterior changes. At the rear, the electric model can be fitted with a carbon-fiber diffuser and an unusual split lip spoiler.

Because the i3 M60 xDrive is electric, the package does not include exhaust-related components. The available parts instead focus on aerodynamic details and exterior trim.

M350 xDrive gets its own accessories

The gasoline-powered M350 xDrive was also shown with a range of M Performance Parts. It replaces the M340i xDrive and will be the highest-performance version of the new 3-Series before the next M3 arrives.

The M350 xDrive uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with mild-hybrid assistance. Its stated output is 437 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, equivalent to 580 Nm.

Available exterior additions include a piano-black front splitter with carbon-fiber winglets and a bright red tow strap. The model can also be equipped with dedicated M Performance wheels, carbon-fiber mirror caps, and distinctive side skirts.

At the back, the accessory range includes a carbon-fiber diffuser, a carbon lip spoiler, and carbon-fiber tailpipe surrounds. The diffuser design is similar to the component shown for the i3 M60 xDrive.

BMW has released images of the accessories ahead of the models’ dealership arrival. Based on that timing, the parts could be offered when the new i3 and 3-Series reach dealers, although pricing and final availability have not been confirmed.
