Alpine has introduced the A290 Collection, a new personalization-focused specification for its electric hot hatch. Developed through the Atelier Alpine program, the treatment is available across the GT, GT Performance, and GTS versions of the A290.

The Collection specification brings a revised exterior appearance centered on body-colored fender extensions. Unlike the standard A290 and the related Renault 5 E-Tech, which use black crossover-style cladding, the new treatment gives the wheel arches a finish that matches the bodywork.

Exterior design updates

Blanc Nival, or Snow White, is the standard paint color, while buyers can also select Bleu Orage Mat, known as Matte Storm Blue. Both versions feature a Deep Black roof, with the same color applied to the aerodynamic additions on the bumpers and side skirts.

The A290 Collection also receives 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a snowflake-inspired design. Silver Grey brake calipers are fitted at the front, while chrome Alpine monograms are added to the charging-port area. An Alpine French flag on the C-pillar is available as an option.

Blue and grey cabin treatment

Inside, the Collection specification combines Deep Blue and Evee Grey upholstery with matching decorative inserts on the door panels, dashboard, and center console. A black heated steering wheel is standard for the treatment, with a blue version available optionally.

The styling package can be paired with either of the A290’s electric powertrain outputs. The single-motor setup produces either 178 horsepower (130 kW/180 PS) or 217 horsepower (160 kW/220 PS). Both versions use the standard 52 kWh battery, which is rated for up to 236 miles (380 km) of WLTP range.

A290’s role in Alpine’s lineup

The A290 currently represents 70 percent of Alpine’s sales, according to the supplied information. Nearly 80 percent of buyers reportedly come from outside the Renault Group, highlighting the model’s role in attracting customers beyond Alpine’s corporate family.

The Alpine A290 Collection is scheduled to be displayed in Hall 6 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, which runs in the French capital from October 12 to 18. Alpine will also show personalized examples of the A390 fastback crossover, a sculpture depicting the next-generation A110 sports car, and an unnamed concept that could develop into a production GT.
