Pagani has unveiled the third and final Huayra 70 model in the United States. Named Anima, the bespoke hypercar debuted at the Concours at Wynn in Las Vegas as the Italian marque continues producing and delivering its newer Utopia.
Anima follows the Huayra 70 Trionfo and Derecho, which were revealed earlier this year. Like those cars, it was created through Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni program, allowing a customer to commission an extensively personalized vehicle.
Carbon fiber, diamond dust, and platinum
The Anima’s exterior is dominated by exposed blue carbon fiber across the bumpers, doors, fenders, hood, and engine cover. Pagani has incorporated real diamond dust into the carbon material, giving the bodywork a distinctive shimmer.
Hand-applied platinum leaf adds another layer of customization. It appears on the front splitter, sections of the doors, the engine cover, and the rear wing uprights. The car also features Tricolore Blue and Argentina Light Blue finishes on selected chassis components.
Compared with other Huayra models, including the BC Roadster, the Huayra 70 has more distinctive bodywork. Its changes include unique bumpers, a different rear diffuser, a bespoke rear wing, and a roof scoop influenced by the Pagani Zonda Cinque. A six-pipe exhaust system with white ceramic coating completes the exterior treatment.
Manual transmission and 851-hp V12
Power comes from AMG’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12, upgraded for the Huayra 70 to produce 851 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 811 pound-feet, or 1,100 Nm, of torque.
The engine sends its output to the rear wheels through a seven-speed Xtrac manual transmission and an electromechanical self-locking differential. The car uses double-wishbone front suspension and electronically adjustable, interconnected shock absorbers at all four corners.
Carbon-ceramic brake discs and Brembo calipers are fitted front and rear. The Huayra 70 rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires measuring 265/30 at the front and 355/25 at the rear.
A personalized interior
Inside, Anima combines milk-colored leather with Inky Blue carbon fiber accents on the seats. Diamond dust is also incorporated into the steering wheel and gear knob, while exposed aluminum components continue Pagani’s established interior design approach.
Pagani designer Lorenzo Kerkoc said the brand worked with the owner for more than a year during the design process. The project was intended to fulfill the owner’s childhood ambition of creating a special car together with Horacio Pagani.
