Jeep is adding a new 35-inch Tire Launch Edition package to the updated 2027 Gladiator, giving buyers a factory-installed combination of larger all-terrain tires, suspension upgrades, and off-road hardware. The limited-production package will be available on the Gladiator Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

More ground clearance and off-road equipment

The package includes 17-inch bronze-painted wheels capable of accommodating beadlock use, along with 35-inch all-terrain tires. A factory suspension lift adds one inch of clearance and helps improve the Gladiator’s approach angle to 46.7 degrees. The departure angle rises to 26.7 degrees, while the breakover angle increases to 23.3 degrees.

Jeep is also equipping the package with performance brakes, heavy-duty Dana axles at both ends, a 4.56 final-drive ratio, and a full-time 4:1 transfer case. These additions are intended to support the larger tires and improve the Gladiator’s off-road capability without requiring owners to complete the modifications themselves.

Powertrain remains unchanged

The 35-inch Tire Launch Edition does not include an engine upgrade. The Gladiator continues to use its naturally aspirated 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, which produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission remains part of the powertrain.

Bronze exterior details

Beyond the mechanical changes, the package adds several styling updates. Highline fender flares and wheel-arch extensions make room for the larger tires, while a performance hood, bronze Jeep badges, bronze tow hooks, and additional bronze accents give the special edition a distinct appearance.

Graphics are applied to the hood, sides, and tailgate. Rubicon models receive a separate hood and vent graphic design when fitted with the package.

Jeep CEO Branden Coté said the package was created in response to the popularity of 35-inch tires among Gladiator owners who modify their trucks for larger off-road adventures. The automaker has not disclosed how many examples it plans to produce or how much the package will cost.
