Three cars from Jeremy Clarkson’s personal collection, each featured in an episode of The Grand Tour, will be offered at auction in November. Iconic Auctioneers is selling the trio without reserve.

1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V

The oldest car in the group is a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V, which Clarkson drove in The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown. The Scotland-based episode saw Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May take American classics on the road.

Clarkson has previously indicated that he generally does not keep the vehicles used during filming, but this Lincoln was an exception and later joined his collection. It wears blue paint with a matching blue interior and remains mostly original.

The Continental was equipped with a NOS system for the episode, although the system apparently never worked. Its odometer currently shows 68,285 miles, equivalent to 109,894 kilometers.

1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6

The second car is a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6 driven by Clarkson in the seventh episode of The Grand Tour’s third series, which was also filmed in Scotland.

It is powered by Alfa Romeo’s 2.5-liter Busso engine and has covered just 28,315 miles, or 45,568 kilometers. The mileage is notably low for a car of its age, according to the auction listing details provided in the source material.

1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider

The most distinctive car in the sale is a 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider used by Clarkson during the final episode of The Grand Tour. Filmed in Zimbabwe and Botswana, the episode subjected the Lancia to demanding conditions, but the car survived.

Several changes were made for its television appearance. The Lancia features taillights taken from a Ferrari 308, quad tailpipes, Lancia Delta Integrale wheels, and distinctive grilles. Its exterior is finished in Lotus Blue, while the cabin uses cloth seats instead of leather.

All three cars will be sold without a reserve, meaning none has a minimum sale price that must be met for the vehicle to sell. Their association with Clarkson and The Grand Tour could make them particularly notable offerings alongside their individual histories and specifications.
