Longo Toyota of Prosper, Texas, has created a Back to the Future-inspired Toyota Tacoma based on a 2026 Tacoma TRD Sport. The dealer fitted the midsize pickup with nearly $17,000 in accessories intended to echo Marty McFly’s dream truck from the film franchise.
Custom Tacoma upgrades
The tribute truck carries a Fab Fours front bumper, a Go Rhino sport bar, and six KC Daylighter lights operated through a Nacho Lighting switch panel. Its stance is raised by 2.5 inches, while 17-inch Method wheels are wrapped in 33-inch Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ tires.
Additional equipment includes tinted windows, side steps, a bed step, and a black tailgate insert. The dealer also added a dash camera, spray-on bed liner, black chrome exhaust tip, and Toyota’s larger 14-inch Audio Multimedia display.
The listed upgrades total $16,985. With them included, the Tacoma’s price rises from $52,941 to $70,725. That places the custom truck above the starting prices cited for other Tacoma variants: the Trailhunter starts at $63,750, while the TRD Pro starts at $64,750.
Hybrid powertrain
Underneath the movie-inspired styling, the Tacoma uses Toyota’s i-Force Max powertrain. The system combines a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with a 1.87-kWh nickel-metal hydride battery and an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission.
The setup produces 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. While the exterior accessories provide the visual connection to Back to the Future, the truck remains a 2026 Tacoma TRD Sport equipped with Toyota’s hybrid powertrain.
