Ram’s 2026 1500 Rumble Bee allocation equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 sold out within 90 minutes, underscoring strong early demand for the revived performance truck. The order book was then filled through March 2027 within the first 24 hours.
Ram said sold customer orders within the allocation will receive priority status, a measure intended to help those buyers receive their trucks as quickly as possible.
A broader Rumble Bee lineup
The Rumble Bee is offered exclusively as a quad cab and is positioned as a more practical take on the muscle-truck formula. The range includes an entry-level model, a mid-level 392 variant, and an SRT version producing 777 horsepower (579 kW/788 PS).
The demand follows Ram’s decision to bring the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 back to the 1500 lineup. Customers ordered more than 10,000 trucks within 24 hours of the engine’s return, according to the supplied information.
Ram had previously characterized the Rumble Bee as a risk because street-oriented trucks have not consistently succeeded in the past. The model’s initial sales response now gives the nameplate a strong start, although the source does not provide longer-term sales figures.
Entry-level Rumble Bee specifications
The base 1500 Rumble Bee starts at $59,995. Its 5.7-liter Hemi V8 produces 395 horsepower (295 kW/400 PS) and 410 lb-ft (555 Nm) of torque. Unlike some other applications, this engine setup does not use stop/start or eTorque systems.
Power reaches the ground through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an active four-wheel-drive system. Ram lists a 0-to-60-mph time of 6.1 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 14.6 seconds at 93 mph (150 km/h).
Ram CEO Matt VanDyke said the quick sellout reflects customer enthusiasm for performance trucks, while describing the Rumble Bee as a combination of Hemi V8 power, Ram capability, and distinctive styling.
