Larte Design has imagined an unusually bold version of the BMW XM, combining a Lunar Lilac paint finish with a 17-piece carbon-fiber body kit. The vehicle currently exists only as a digital design, and it remains unclear whether the tuner intends to build one.

The concept was created after Larte shared images of a Lamborghini Urus SE finished in Lunar Lilac, a lavender shade with blue undertones. According to the tuner, several BMW XM owners then asked to see the high-performance SUV in the same color. Larte’s response applies the finish not only to the bodywork, but also to the added carbon components.

Purple carbon-fiber bodywork

The proposed package begins at the front with a carbon-fiber splitter, a redesigned grille surround, and a vented carbon hood. The same purple treatment continues across the flared front fenders and mirror caps.

Along the sides, Larte’s design adds new side skirts and wider rear arches. The rear incorporates a central carbon-fiber diffuser with four vertical brake lights, while quad tailpipes receive matching carbon-fiber trim.

A large roof-mounted wing and a smaller tailgate spoiler complete the rear-end changes. The digital renderings also show the XM fitted with a set of matching 23-inch forged wheels.

Compatibility and production status

Larte has not established whether this specific purple XM will move beyond the virtual stage. The tuner does say its body kit is compatible with the base BMW XM, the XM Label, and the XM 50e.

The design adds another highly personalized interpretation to BMW’s already distinctive SUV. In this case, the combination of lavender paint, color-matched carbon fiber, extensive bodywork, and oversized wheels gives the concept an appearance far removed from a standard XM.
