Ineos has unveiled the Grenadier Helmsman, a limited-time special edition designed for customers with a nautical lifestyle. The package is available on both the Grenadier Station Wagon and Quartermaster models.
The Helmsman is offered as standard in Eldoret Blue or Scottish White, while the Whiteout Blue metallic finish shown in the launch images is also available. Buyers can pair the body color with either an Inky Black or Scottish White roof.
Dark exterior treatment
The special edition includes Ineos’s Dark Exterior Pack, which adds a black grille, dark skid plates, and matte black roof rails. Tinted windows and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with locking lug nuts are also standard equipment.
Inside, the Grenadier Helmsman features black leather seats with oyster-colored inserts. The model also comes equipped with Ineos’s premium sound system and Smooth Pack. That package includes ambient cabin lighting, front parking sensors, and auxiliary electrical outlets.
The Helmsman’s equipment and theme are aimed at owners who use their vehicles around the water. Ineos Automotive Global Sales Director Sagree Sardien said the company developed the edition for activities such as recovering boats and carrying kayaks to the coast, combining design elements from earlier limited-edition Grenadiers with ocean-inspired colors.
Limited-time edition follows sales growth
Ineos has not disclosed how many Grenadier Helmsman examples it will build. The company has only said that production will continue for a limited time.
UK pricing starts at £70,995, equivalent to approximately $94,000 based on the figure provided for the launch. The Helmsman arrives a few months after Ineos reported record sales for the first six months of the year.
Orders for the Grenadier increased 14.6% year over year from January through June, with the first quarter delivering a 20% rise. The source also identifies stronger demand from corporate customers and the nonprofit sector as contributors to the brand’s performance, along with military-specification Grenadiers ordered for Italy and Austria.
