Kia’s 2027 K4 will cost slightly more in the United States, with both the sedan and hatchback receiving $100 price increases. The sedan now starts at $22,390 before a $1,245 destination charge, while the K4 Hatchback begins at $25,090.
The K4 remains Kia’s second-best-selling vehicle in America, with 98,554 units sold through August. Despite its higher pricing for 2027, the compact car receives only limited changes.
New wheel and color combinations
On both body styles, the GT-Line Premium Package now includes black-finished 18-inch alloy wheels. The new wheels replace the previous two-tone 18-inch design.
Kia has also expanded the available color combinations for the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo trims. A Steel Gray exterior can now be paired with a Red interior. Previously, buyers choosing Steel Gray were limited to Black and White SynTex upholstery.
Equipment across the K4 lineup
The K4 sedan is available in five trim levels. Its entry-level LX has 16-inch steel wheels, a non-split-folding rear bench, and a polyurethane steering wheel rather than SynTex upholstery.
Standard equipment on the base sedan includes LED lighting, air conditioning, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. A four-speaker audio system is also included, along with driver-assistance features such as Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, and Forward Collision Avoidance with detection for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and junction turns.
Upper trims add features including an acoustic windshield, a sunroof, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Depending on the variant, buyers can also get a 10-way power driver’s seat, heated and ventilated front seats, and an eight-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system.
Two four-cylinder engine options
Most K4 trims use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The engine works with a continuously variable transmission, allowing the sedan to reach 62 mph from rest in 9.7 seconds and achieve a 124-mph top speed.
A turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder is also available. It produces 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged sedan starts at $28,490 and is listed with a 0-to-62-mph time of eight seconds.
